Is this a DIY job? (257#).
Have stout tree limb, come along and cupped hydraulic car jack for under skeg. Motor (johnson 70) looks like it will slide on bottom two bolts (depending on how it's sealed on). I know one key will be to make sure the transom bolts are properly sealed again on both sides.
Tips/suggestions?
Has anyone had this done professionally and can give me some rough idea of what it might cost?
While obviously noone likes to give suggestions for an operation that involves some danger to property or person, it's an older motor (and I'm an older person) and this would seem a reasonable risk.
Thank you, Chris
