We have just bought a new Ranger Tug 21 and will pick it up on the 5th of next month. I have the VIN and wonder if there is a posting on this site which will allow me to decipher it.

Don't know if the Ranger 21 follows the same code as the R25 but it should. Mine reads: FMLT2523B707
Translated, if I remember correctly, that means
FMLT - Built by Fluid Motion
25 - length overall
23 - serial number
B - month built (Feb)
7 - year built (2007)
07 - Model year (2007)

Looks right, thanks. My new boat was built last August. Dealer says it is still in its shrink wrap. I am anxious to see her.
