Raymarine C-80 radar yellow screen!

I have a Raymarine C-80 package on my 22 cruiser. When I turn the radar on, all I get is one sweep and it leaves the screen completely yellow. Any ideas why this is happening?
 
Reset it or call Raymarine. You might also turn the scanner on and off a couple of times.
 
Check your controls and see if gain or sensitivity is turned to high. Is this happening on the open water? Sounds like the radar is painting one big contact all around the boat.
 
I did turn it off and on about 10 times and it is happening on the water. I called Raymarine and they said to do a system diagnostics test, so I am off to try that.
