Reef Madness, Alaska bound

Gene,
Thanks for sharing--wonderful story, and great photos. Shades of cruising these areas with our two Labrador retrievers and shore calls! Wonderfully done!

Gene and Margaret, those pictures are fabulous. Nice job on uploading them to your website. I really enjoy following your trail of discovery, like we did with Pat and Patty last year. It was just weeks ago that we saw you at Friday Harbor, I turn around, and you've dashed up to Alaska--again!

Here's a wish for calm seas, meeting new friends, and experiencing many more fun occasions for the three of you.

What great adventures, Gene, Margaret and Docker!

Been following your blog since Friday Harbor. You guys certainly know how to move out and make miles. We're very envious and know we'll do the same in the coming years with our golden, Sunshine.

Have fun and stay safe!

Thanks for the uploads Gene. Wish this would have all been planned earlier and I could have followed you up. I'm back in Telegraph Cove now. Hope to actually catch some fish and crab tomorrow, and will be starting for home this weekend. It was tempting to come up and join you, but too late with other plans. Colby Late note. Just looking thru your blog now and I have to say WOW about all the boats with you at Sullivan Bay. When I was there two nights ago, only 3 boats were on the dock when I pulled in before noon, and then they left. One other boat pulled in later in the day to join me. Last night in Echo Bay, there were only 4 of us.

Gene, I enjoyed reading your blog. Hope to see you up here somewhere before we we both head south again.

Jay, We expect to head to Juneau today 6/7. May be there a couple days. Staying in Auk Bay. We will have a truck to run some errands. From there were are heading over to Elfin Cove. Depending on the weather, we may stop in Hoonah before transiting Icy Strait and Cross Sound. Let’s keep in touch.

Hard to believe we were are in Alaska now. This wasn’t planned but something came over us and we just kept going. Wish we could have brought some Brats with us. Please keep following along. We love your comments and encouragement. Fishing soon. https://reefmadness355969868.wordpress.com/

Gene & Margaret, we can't thank you two adventures enough for your wonderful welcoming at Elfin Cove. The best halibut cooked meal ever, great afternoon & evening conversation & the morning send off with more conversation coffee & hot cinnabuns & the left over you sent with us was enjoyed in Dundas Bay that afternoon.

Hope we meet again this summer & we'll be following your blog,

Jay & JoLee
