Removal of Registration Stickers

Hi,

It's that time of the year, does anybody have any tricks for removing the state registration stickers, to make room for the new ones? Or do you all just put the new ones over the old ones?

Should there be adhesive left behind and most likely, there will be -"GooGone" works pretty good to remove it.
