Replacement all around nav light info needed.

Hi Brats,

Last week I was caught in a 60 mph squall on Lake Erie and my all around light/anchor light came apart at the swaged area under the black collar. I probably aggravated the problem by having a flag zip-tied to the staff.

I called Scott at the factory for a replacement and he referred me to Fisheries Supply, having given me an order number. However, the number was not accurate and FS had no idea what that number was for. I called Scott again and he told me to just run a search on the FS site, which I did.

Anyhow, I wound up with the wrong item and hope that one of you can give me some info on the correct replacement item/number and source. It's just the standard light that mounts aft of the roof brow, but my factory arch has the same angled receptacle on the aft end of the arch.

Thanks for your help,

Nick

You might want to consider one of the LED lights, especially if you stay at anchor much. I have repaired these staffs with JB weld--don't know if yours can be or not.

There are different models for different boats--but many are PERKO, and have the 2 or 3 contacts.

Bob,

Thanks for your reply, but I have already replaced my stock bulb with an LED. Great idea, though!

I think I may have found the right model light, but they appear out of stock.

Regards,

Nick
