Anybody know anything about this stuff?
I was cruising Craigslist and found a guy selling some.
Anybody know if this stuff works?

First - I have some money (some - not much) invested in the company (but not because of this product) that developed and makes this stuff .
Second - I did try it (at my own expense) on my CD 22. I run and dock all summer in Lake Superior, a rather cool and oligotropic (look it up) lake, and consequently have very little slime buildup. I decided to try it to see if it affected gas mileage. I did not sand the gel coat (as recommended) but regardless I believe it stayed on the hull as it was seaslide slimey for two seasons. It was easy to apply; just sponge it on. However, the gas mileage didn't seem to be affected. Boats that get lots of slime buildup may have significantly different results as the marketing company's published testimonies witness. For me I will finish the gallon I have and return to an annual wax job ( Turtle wax - easy to get and use; Collinite - hard to get and easy to use; both seem to protect well).

Looking at the testimonials, there are no objective studies to show that it is any faster or uses less fuel--just ancidotal stories.
