Set The Time Zone in Your Profile!

I kept noticing the day / time of posts was off by a lot. Was going to whine...er comment... to Bill, then it occurred to me, look in the Profile. Sure enough, the default is GMT, which is -8 hours difference from Left Coast time, but like everything else here, you can set it to whatever floats your boat. So if you give a crap about the real date / time, set your TZ in your Profile! (So much to learn, so little time - and that is just for us users, imagine poor Mike!)

Hey Chuck,

That setting is the date format, i.e. how you prefer it be displayed. Agreed - it is far from intuitive, so I'd recommend most folks leave it as is to avoid problems. Pat's referring to the time zone setting - there's a drop down list box for that in your profile, from which you can select your timezone.

The ability to set the time in 24 hour format helps me.

Now if we could get metric time for the Canucks we'll be all set. :wink
