Site Outage

I'm guessing some of you may have noticed the site was down for the last 24+ hours... :lol:

Short version - there was some file corruption, due to some unknown bug in the forum software. Since it's happened only once in a few years, I'm not going to waste any time researching it more...particularly since the fix takes about 10 seconds if it happens again.

That is...assuming I'm available. The glitch couldn't have happened at a worse time...from what I can tell, it happened within 30 minutes of me heading out the door on a road trip. I was without adequate Net access until just now...a little unusual for me.

Anyway, things seem to be back to normal now - follow up here if you see anything wacky.

Thanks Bill, for bringing us back to life! For those of us unable to attend the Lopez gathering, we can at least now continue to be involved in our C-Dory boating addictions!
 
Thanks for the hard work Bill! I didn't figure it would take too long for you to get it fixed. Sure was strange not being able to get my C-Brat fix though! :)

This is not a big problem, but the column (cells) on the left side do not adjust automatically anymore, as the web page size is changed. It seems to have a fixed size and it is too wide and only on the home page.

Clicking on Photos, I get the following message.
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_VARIABLE in /home/cbadmin/public_html/modules/gallery/albums.php on line 66

Yup, the site is having problems. Don't know what the deal is yet, and I'm on vacation. Check back in a day or so, I'll get it fixed.

Glad it wasn't something more serious, Bill, though I hear your boss at your "real job" is considering one of these for your cubicle. :shock:

I, for one, really missed the site. Didn't realize how important it is for information and updates. Even wrote to a few old contacts on the site to see if they knew anything about the problem. Thanks again for maintaining this important link to the C-Dory population. Ron
