Starbrite hull cleaner for car wheels?

Just for the heck of it, after scrubbing till my knuckles were bleeding, I sprayed hull cleaner on the grimey aluminum wheels of my car. It was like magic it did so well. So well, in fact, that I’m wondering about the down side of using this routinely.

Thoughts and advice appreciated

I expect it contains oxalic acid and you can check the MSDS

My Suburban has aluminum wheels with clearcoat
I clean with soapy water then apply wax and cleaner product

Starbrite hull cleaner has oxalic acid. Oxalic acid is said to be safe for aluminum wheels.
