I bought a couple of Plano XXL stowaway boxes for some of my fishing gear and then started thinking about how they might fit on the floor of the galley cabinet. I had been using a Rubbermaid action packer for all of the extras, like prop, tools, etc..
Two of them fit very nicely, are just a little below the lip where the doors close, and seem pretty solid. For anyone who has not put a floor in their cabinet, this might be a good solution. Locally, the cost was $12.95 per unit.\
I am not sure if this would be appropriate for the newer molded interiors, but...
