I would like to take this opportunity to thank C-Dory and Frank Walters for the understanding and prompt manner in which they handled a warranty issue on my 2004 boat. Frank followed up with me throughout the repair process and payment was made to the repair facility without delay. It could not have been handled any better in my opinion. Thanks also to the new owners for their apparent renewed commitment to C-Dory boats and community of owners.

Do you know how they paid the repair facility? I was told by Frank that I need to pay myself, then will get reimbursed. I asked if they had a company credit card to take care of these things and he said they do not do it that way. If that is how they are doing for you, please let me know.

I just had the work done a few weeks ago immediately after the new owners assumed control. C-Dory directly reimbursed the repair facility after the work was completed to my satisfaction and upon my authorization. Maybe, there has been a change in policy.

Thanks for the info Rollie. Mine was done two weeks ago.
 
I spoke to Frank last night, he explained they will pay directly via check reimbursement but not via a credit card. I assume that was how it was done for your repair facility Rollie?

In my case I got pre-approval for the work to be done based on estimate then pay with my own credit card. I then submit the receipts to C-Dory for payment. I know my last set of receipts was submitted to AP so hopefully I will get the check soon.

I would prefer not to be the middle man of course but this process allows me to get my boat back in the water sooner. So far so good with my warranty experience.
