Sorry for not responding sooner, the previously mentioned email offer will still happen. However, since email is handled by the same server as the web site, I don't want to go forward with it until the performance issues have been addressed.
Speaking of which, there appears to be some relief this morning; the hosting provider killed some scripts running on the server, and things are much, much better. What I don't know, is who was running the scripts, and whether steps have been taken to ensure they don't get run again.
So...we'll see how things go for the next few days. If things are permanently back to normal, I'll post the details for the email accounts and we'll get them set up.
