I just got my 16' foot cruiser and will put it in the water next week. I can hardly wait. Any ideas for her would be appreciated. No name yet. She has a VHF and a depth sounder. What do you folks recommend for an anchor? And where do you keep yours? Thanks.
 
Welcome to the pub C-Shark and congratulations on your new boat. Your sure to have fun running around the Sitka area. Lots of relatively protected water for the 16 and a great hatchery fishery right in close to town as I'm sure you are aware. I try to make it up there every June so if I see ya on the water I'll be sure to wave.

My vote for your boat name is C-Itka.

Cool name idea. Thanks. The hatcery is Ok but there are more fish further north. I'll look for yah.
 
I thought of C-Atika as well. Shee Atica is the Tlingit indian name that Sitka comes from. what do yah think?

I should be so lucky as to be locked up on my boat so I couldn't work.
 
Which remends me. Anna Leigh, the 25, has never been christened. Probably should get this done may be at Poulsbo. Jim???Dave???

Since the Sunday Church of the NFL is pretty much done for this year, we can replace it the Sunday Church of the C-Dory.
 
Jim, it looks like it's up to you again, (3/10 to 3/12 is a terrible weekend for me) seein' as how I've got to work 48 hours of the 72 hours that weekend. With all the christening work you've done in the past year, I'm thinkin' I should demote myself to Ass't Rev. and make you the Rev. (or perhaps the Bishop :thup ).
