Toland Marinaut 21.5 Interior

I don’t see any real difference. The CD22 dinette table is much larger and makes into a 3rd birth, the Marinaut 21.5 does not. The forward Port seat turns sideways and many CD 22s slide back and turn around so you are actually facing forward. The fit and finish is similar from what I can see.
 
I would like to find some really high quality seats that look like the ones in the photos, but all normal looking seats seem to be cheaply made.
In my case I would be willing to give up the bunk for comfortable seating.
Anyone know of a source for high quality normal looking seats? I think I'm going to give it a try.

If you’re going to give up the bunk just remove the foam and fabric and bolt on a seat, shouldn’t be that hard. Or find a good upholstery shop and have them make custom replacement seats. Next winter I'm having my seat all redone, but will stick with the bunk arrangement. When I take out more than three it's nice to be able seat 3 on the port side.
 
I had not planned on commenting on this thread but have received a couple of emails from people with miss-understandings about the Marinaut from this thread, so I will try and clear up a few things.

The port seat turns 180 degrees and has five stop positions in that 180 degree arc. If we were to put a sliding swivel base on the port seat, you can have a table that is 24 inches wide instead of the standard 18 inch one. Our seats and berth have thicker and higher density foam than the C-Dory. The seats are also wider and there is also a fourth jump seat that is standard on the Marinaut. The Marinaut has a longer and wider cabin than the 22 C-Dory, the deck is longer and in the sleeping configuration the bunk is longer.

The Marinaut was designed so it could be easily customized by the user. The C-Dory has had over 20 years of user modification made to them. We designed a boat that would be easier to modify and let the user’s imagination go to work on it. By making slight changes to the interior, you can have a third or fourth bunk. You the user will have to decide what features are important to you.

Can I order a pair of Marinaut seats from you?-they look perfect!
Being bigger seats, I expect to lower the driver's side mounting surface to fit under the wheel.
