Hi there. I was notified today that my offer for a Tomcat 255 was accepted. I'm very excited and wanted to share my news.

I feel like I've read every post on this board going back 18 months. What a great resource! Without stumbling on this site, I probably would have gone another direction.

The boat is a 2006 with 135 Suzuki's. It's extremely clean and has full cockpit controls that looks very well done. As a fishermen, that addition was very appealing to me. I'd like a bit more power but who wouldn't!

I'm pretty sure the previous owner wasn't register on this site but you never know.

I'm sure I'll post plenty of questions....but tonight I'm celebrating!

Congratulations on the purchase of the boat. Hopefully the "135 Suzuki" is a topo error. I don't believe that Suzuki has made a modern 135 HP. There was a 115; Captain Charlie had that boat--could be another one--there are also some 140 Suzuki--same block as the 115. More common is the 150 Suzuki, or 135 Honda.

Let us see some photos, and details about the boat!
 
They are 140s. Thanks. I think the original add said 135....I just got 10 more HP!
 
Congratulations! So cool when you find THE boat! Perfect platform for a lot of fun.
