For all the C-Brat Wooters:

Woot.com has the ThermoHawk 200 Touchless Infrared Thermometer today only for less than $18. Good enough to check yer trailer tires for overheating. Biggest drawback in their forum is that battery life is kind'a short and ya gotta hit up Radio Shack to get replacements.

This one is cheaper at Harbor Freight.
 
I went with this so I could monitor my Wallas performance.
 
We have a couple of the radio Shack IR thermometers. We test tires, but perhaps more importantly, the hubs on the trailer and brake discs every two hours. Just takes a couple of minutes to walk around and check the tire, hub and break disc.
