We were looking at kicker options and layout and realized the best plan for us was repowering with twin 40's. The purchase and install was through Hein Marine here on South Whidbey and we're very happy with the job. They removed and drained the tank, installed seastar hydraulic steering, new tank senders and hoses, and new tachs. We took the Biscuit out for a break-in run on Friday and it was terrific! Noodling around the marina with the twins is very entertaining! Now we're feeling more comfortable with west side adventures with a second get-home engine. If anybody is interested in the 2000 Suzuki 70 let me know. Running great when we took it off. Check our album for pictures.

Q: How can you tell if a boat with twin engines (OB's) was brought in to dock by an experienced twin engine driver? Or when watching it come in and dock.

A: The OB's are always centered.

Go out and play with your twins. On in forward, one in reverse. Do the twist, and get used to it. Twins, the best device on board a C-Dory for slow speed maneuvering.
