U-Tube video clips with C-Dorys

Been doing a little C-Dory cruising on the web, well, U-Tube actually. Found a link on the Delta cruise thread, to some U-Tube video showing clips from the 2016 Delta Extravaganza and then got to chasing more of that video. Turns out Floyd & Eiko of Far C'r a 2001 C-Dory 22 have a pretty extensive U-Tube compilation called “Northwest Passages Part(s) I to VI" and then there are others segments as well.

Here is a link to the Nw Passage #1 and you can follow it from there.

Floyd, you did a terrific job of combining images, photo and video. It was really fun to see familiar waters, (Sidney and north especially), and to get to see the Delta from your view point.

Thanks for sharing it on U-Tube and hope you don’t mind me spilling the beans to the C-BRATS here.

Very nice video, Floyd. Enjoyed watching where you guys went and remember our trips up there, too, last summer.
Next time, try to get to Sucia Island. No marina, but awesome scenery and sandstone rock formations carved from weather.

Thanks Harvey for the mention! This was a great trip, we spent a month making a counter clockwise tour of the San Juans and up into the Canadian Gulf Islands all the way up to Nanaimo. In the videos you can see I hyperlapsed the whole trip and I tried to hit on the high points. The PNW is just the most fantastic cruising grounds I have ever seen.

The next time we are up there I plan to rent a slip in Ganges for a month or two and use it as a home base to explore all the nooks and crannies.

Didn't make it to Sucia this trip but along with Stuart Island it is one of my favorite spots in the islands

I must admit that watching a 50+ minute long video makes you hard core C-Dory fan!

Jason, Thanks for the link. That's a good cruise around a nice 25.

I started this thread for a place for folks to post links to their video sites. That's a nice talent that I don't have.

My Brother-in-Law Bernie, who some of you know from the Delta Trips, is finally getting serious about selling his Baba 30 so I put together a video and took some exterior and interior shots. It will be sad to see the boat go after almost 40 years and with alot of memories. We are hoping new owners will continue the adventure on Altair while Bernie makes new memories on his C-Dory 25 Vega
