USCG self-righting boat for sale

One of the Coast Guard self-righting boats is up for sale, and has been on the market since before I bought my C-Dory 3 years ago. The major drawback is the fuel bill, 20 gph @ 15.3 knots.

Cool - not a bad price either at $115k. With a much larger fuel capacity, and some mods to haul pots and crabs, it would make a good boat for those deadliest catch guys.
 
These things roll like crazy and the diesel exhaust is amid ships on both sides. It is hard to make me sea sick and I have spent most of my life at sea, but the 44 MLB can make me speak to King Neptune in anything that is above 6 foot any day of the week.
Yes, you would have a hard time braking it, but with an average speed of a realistic 13 kts, the cost of fuel and maintenance would certainly kill you.
