Video of Pleasant Bay, Admiralty Island, Southeast Alaska

Jay, Thanks for sharing that. Looks like someplace I could even catch a fish. Love the Shot of the C-Dory and that pointed snow capped mountain that you kind of skipped by real fast  Great video.

Hi Jay,

We anchored in Pleasant Bay in 2009, after trying Mole Harbor and having waves from the S winds curve around too much into the anchorage. Nice place! Did you go further north in Seymour Canal?

Haven't been back to Red Bluff in a few years - it's definitely on the list for 2012.

Absolutely wonderful video. I wish all the CD folks would do nice high def videos of their travels. Makes the Utah winter go by and the juices flow to get the CD back on the water.

Thanks for that great contribution. What a gorgeous place.

Thanks for the nice comments. Harry I too wish more would share their videos & cruise write ups. I have leaned much from all the threads here on boat mechanical, electrical ect but for enjoyment through these winter months not much beats another C-Brats tales, photos & video of there travels & adventure.

Richard, yes we cruised most of Seymour Canel on our 2004 cruise with Pleasant Bay being our favorite Bay & the reason for our return in 2010. Got lucky with the weather in both Gambier & Pleasant Bays in 2010.

Jay, is this
".... we cruised most of Seymour Canal on our 2004 cruise with Pleasant Bay being our favorite Bay & the reason for our return in 2010".

in the area of the Seymour Narrows, east side of Vancouver Island, Where they blew up Seymour rock way back when? or if not, Where (about) SE where from and how far (about).

Loved both of the Videos. Need to get retired to have time to learn how to do that.

Thanks for putting them together. Great job.

Seymour Canal is a very long inlet on the east side of Admiralty Island, entrance about 50 miles south of Juneau. Near the head of the inlet, maybe 20 miles south of Juneau, is the famous Pack Creek bear-watching area. Google maps will point you to the inlet's entrance.
