The small plastic ends on our Honda 45's indicators clogged several times during our recent 7 day trip, so I came up with an idea.
The inside diameter of the plastic end tips are so small that the clog was always located there. An easy fix, but a pain to deal with repeatedly.
My idea is to do away with the plastic tips, and simply replace the tube with a piece long enough to pass thru the hole in the motor housing, leaving an inch or two hanging out. Any reason why this wouldn't work? The only negative thing I can think of is that the water pressure may try to push the tube back up thru the hole, I could cure that with a zip-tie or something on the outside.
