We need a contest to see who can stump Dr. Bob. The man is a veritable fountain of information concerning all things boating (and other subjects too I suspect).

Well, if you intend to do that, let's get some money down on it... my money's on Dr. Bob! 8) He's the principal with principles. (How's that, Charlie? :wink: )

If you really want to feel like you are limited on brain cells, get in a room with Dr. Bob and Brent (Discovery)... I always find myself asking, "How does he know that?" :mrgreen:

We all have our place here: some are here to learn, some to share ideas, some to keep the peace, some to stir things up. I am the court jester in this kingdom... same thing in my house (Queen, Princess, court jester... and just happy to have a place).

Very good but not as funny as you usually are! My dough would be on Dr Bob too, ever since he recommended I replace the tires on Thataway's trailer before my 900+ mile trip up I-85 to her new home! Too bad I demurred (look it up Tom! :mrgreen: )

Jim, I for one, am very happy that you are such a major contributor on this site. Your outlook on life and your wonderful writing are greatly appreciated by me and would be sorely missed otherwise.

And here here for Dr. Bob. What a resource!
 
That's easy.
Just ask him. Either he knows of one, or he doesn't. Either way, you win :-)

On a serious note. Thanks to Dr. Bob, and the many others here who help keep us safe, and turn what could be just a hobby into an educational experience.

My choice of boat, as well as my boating experience with it has been profoundly affected by the wonderful group of people here, on C-Brats.

Not sure we need that contest. Think we already know how that will go. This place has some wonderful resources, and I'm just glad they are willing to share. I have learned much here, and continue each time I log into the site.
