Welcome aboard new C Brat

I am happy to welcome aboard my son Todd, as the newest C Dory owner. Todd bought the ex "Serenity"--#2 Cruises Ship 25 today. Although the boat was dirty, the engine was in good shape, the interior was surprisingly in good condition, and the hull in excellent condition. Todd was filling out the insurance application and put his experience at 20 years--it is closer to 40 years as a skipper, and has been aboard boats since he was a month old, including a trip down Baja coast when he was 2 1/2. He has been thru the Panama Canal, and cruised the Med, and Baltic with, as well as a trip to Alaska.

The boat will be out of Dana Point. He ran the 25 I owned there for several years, so has considerable experience in these hulls.

Actually Todd has had a C Brat screen name for about 9 years, and has "read the mail" for some time.

There are some photos of him in the 25 in my album. it may be a few weeks before he gets the boat in the water, because of improvements and logistics.

I'll let him respond and tell all the boat name. I had suggested "Chaos" which was quickly rejected--he already had a name.

Oh, okay. Cool.

We have the boat in Dana Point, and we are working on getting it ready for many adventures.

I look forward to sharing in the C-Brats experience!

Todd, Ask TyBoo for an album. That will allow you to post photos of the various modifications you have made so far.

I'll have to say, the more time I have spent on the "Cruise Ship" 25 (his is #2--the more I like it. Great canvas for modifications and updating!

Welcome aboard, Son--can you all imagine a "Toddzilla"? Bigger, better looking and smarter than his dad...
