It is the one I have been using for the last 2 years and I love it.
WM # 16320061 for $59.99. It is usually about $100.oo
Rechargeable on 12VDC or 120AC, Bright, and has a Laser pointer light in it.
Small and durable.
We have been using one of those for a few years as well. Love it.
It's Very bright, hold a charge very well, and the red laser-like dot is fun to play with. The light has a flashing mode which is very attention-getting.
If you mean can you pull the switch and have the light stay on, YES, If you are thinking of clipping it to a belt or strap or a stand, No.
On thing I have found that I use at times, is an empty "Pringle" can with the bottom cut off, so it makes a tube that fits nicely over the light and cones teh light to a very narrow beam. Keeps the bright from shining on the Stailess bow pulpit railings. Good for spotting, a pretty narrow beam. I used this at night when at anchor to check my three position points for confirmation tht I was where I belonged.
I bought this WM portable spot light instead of having one
mounted on top of the pilothouse or on the bow. It does have a
laser spot as well as 2 intensities of spotlight plus a strobe.
I think it's OK but nothing wonderful as the power of the regular
spot beam does not seem to be as strong as mounted spots I've
used in the past. On the other hand, it does not produce much
bounce-back glare off the bow railing compared to a fixed spotlight
might produce mounted on the pilothouse.
I've got one. It was nice when it still worked.. Batteries appear to be ok and take a charge but it comes on for a few seconds then shuts down. Started to troubleshoot it and then left it in a heap. Not worth my time. Might buy another if the price is right.
