Window hardware adhesive

I pushed a little too hard when closing a sticky side window and the latch unit came off. Anybody know what glue/ adhesive is used on this part?

Shame on me.....should have searched before asking. There is lots of good info there!
 
Please tell us what you used and how it worked. I've tried a lot of adhesives and at this moment, both side windows have no latches/handles.

It appears that rearview mirror adhesive...sold at auto parts stores...is popular from what my search produced. Some folks got new latches from the factory.
 
I used rear window adhesive on the pad that touches the window after cleaning with a razor blade and alcohol. We used silicone seal everywhere else on the window handle that touched anything. No more problems. Keep window tracks clean and lubed up.

Use liquid rollers on the tracks and "felt" to keep it well lubed.
