Driving back from Port Alice to Port McNeil, I went off the highway 6 km to Alice Lake. I launched and rinsed off.

If you have a pub, then you need a medical clinic. It is on Sea something-or-other street. I couldn't view the whole street sign. There is also a school for children with E. coli.

I like this map. No "you are here" indicated. No "north" indicated. After walking around "town" and seeing where the shop and pub were located, you could then come back to the map and it made more sense.

The marina had one guest moorage spot for a boat under 17 foot with a draft under 9 inches. Perfect.

This is where the highway to Port Alice crosses the Marble River. Years ago I kayaked down the river and then paddled to Coal Harbor to run the shuttle. Lots of caves along the river, some showing signs of human habitation.
