    CD-25 Aft Cockpit Hatches

A little late to the party, but I also urge anyone dealing with these deck penetrations to make sure they seal the around the hatches, particularly the balsa core. I have a 2003 25, and the factory did not, and I will be replacing the entire rear cockpit floor. The balsa core has absorbed a lot...

    Air bags for a Suburban

I am a big fan of the Firestone air bags. Put them on my F150 8 years ago and they have performed great. I opted for the manual inflate option as I normally have a compressor handy. Pleasantly surprised how well the air bagshold air pressure for extended periods of time. The air bags should...

    Hella vent fan

Alright Brats, I have a challenge: I'm trying to find a replacement for a "Hella Rotor" vent fan. It was mounted high above the cook stove on the side wall, under the drip line of the roof. I think the use was to exhaust the vapors from the alcohol cook stove. The fan does not appear to have...

    C dory22 Yakima roof racks

We do have a proper inflatable tender/dingy as well. The kayaks would be for specific trips were we wanted to get some paddling in. We would not try to bring the yaks and the dingy at the same time. So many places to explore in PWS.

    C dory22 Yakima roof racks

Looking for some input and experiences trying to "rack out" a 90 Cruiser - with wooden roof grab rails. I see that the gutter mount style 1a Yakima towers are being used to mount to the stainless grab rails on some of the newer Cruisers. Does anyone have experience trying this system with the...

    C-dory 22/carb honda 90 prop question

We have the same Honda on our 1990 22 cruiser. Put a new 3 bladed aluminum 15" prop. Medium loaded, we get 5900 rpm and about 30 mph on flat calm water. Same prop works good heavily loaded too. What pitch prop are you running? Maybe a 17"?

Engine dies when using port tank

We experienced a similar problem this past summer with the port tank. After several occasions of water showing up in the Racor and slowing fuel flow I think we finally found the problem. Filling up the water tank with a hose was the problem. Some water would spill from the process of filling...

    Espar D2 Heater

I give the Espar D2 heater 2 big thumbs up! Installed it over the winter and ran it several times on land to ensure correct operation. Spent the weekend in PWS and was very comfortable in temps into the teens at night. Helped keep the windows free of condensation. I was able to fit it under...

Real world experience with a 6 hp kicker on a 22 cruiser

6hp Suzuki works great as a kicker on our 22 cruiser. Great for boat control while fishing. Seems to have enough power to move the boat to safety in event the main goes down.

Espar it is! Thanks for talking me off the Planar cliff. Now where to put it in the boat. That is what the long winters are for. Truly appreciate all of you responses!

    Planar Heater

Appreciate all of the prompt responses. I guess I got turned off by the Espar heaters due to a quote of $1999 for a Espar 2 with full marine mounting components here in Anchorage. Any suggestions of a reputable dealer in the lower 48 that has respectable service? Starcrattom, where did you...

    Planar Heater

We definatley need to put a heater in our 22' Cruiser. The AK "summers" are very damp. We tried the Mr. Buddy, but creates too much moisture. I realize the options are Espar, Wesabo etc... Does anyone have any experience with the Planar heaters? I see it is a product developed as a joint...
