    Replace old 2 stroke engine

I've found a used C-Dory 22 I maybe interested in, but it has a 2 stroke Johnson engine. My question: When it comes time to reengine, will the greater weight of a 4 stroke cause problems? I heard the later C-Dory were redesigned to accomodate the heavier enginers. Thanks,

Late season boating on NW waters

Somewhat warm, not much wind - so decided to launch our 16 Cruiser. Haven't had it in fresh water, so put in at Magnuson Park on Lake Washington. Motored through ship canal to locks, back, north along east shore of Lake Washington, then return to Magnuson. Had a great time - lots to see along...

    C-Dory 16 Kite-Napped

The wind is from the north about 15 kt. It’s a sunny day, so kiters are kiting, sailors are sailing and we’re returning to Shilshole after an afternoon cruise to Poulsbo on ‘Bout Time. My wife and I had to wait at the marina north entrance for several sailboats leaving the marina under sail...

    Greetings

This is my first post to this site - so "Greetings" from Mike and Kaya. We became the happy owners of a new/old CD 16 Cruiser this week. We haven't had it in the water yet because it's in getting engines serviced, but we're sure looking forward to next week end. Our first trip will be to...
