    Invisacook said it won't hurt the unit, just changes the electrical flow. I'll be swapping inverters in a couple weeks regardless.

    Started with a chinese 2kw diesel heater but it wasn't enough heat so swapped out my planar 4kw in the van with the 2kw. Van had too much heat and boat not enough. For Alaska in the spring and fall the 4kw is the way to go. I'll put pics on my boat's page
