Anybody have a history with this 22 currently in CA?

I'm also selling a boat of the same year in Southern California. We are original owners and never had any problem with quality. One thing I notice when comparing the photos of that boat and ours is that we have the full glass door with an aluminum frame even though it is also a 2006 year boat...

    Wallas Countertop

Looks like a great idea. I am always worried about anything on the counter being too near to the lid and hence a fire hazard while running the heater. It looks like it the one you made is designed to go over the newer Wallas lids that are flat and not angled down from the back?

    Connecticut c-dory boat sales

We bought our boat at Old Lyme Marina in CT in 2007. They were a dealer then but we moved to California one season after buying the boat so not sure if they are still selling them.

What to Look for When Buying a 2006 25' Cruiser - SF Bay

I routinely run my 22 cruiser in SF bay and although it is not always comfortable, I always feel safe. Like others have mentioned, the key is just to slow down when there is a lot of wind chop or through the standing waves that often occur in Raccoon Strait. On a few times in the summer when...

Urgent help needed -- New outboard trim gauge not working

I am not sure on the Honda 90s but most of these trim gauges have a mechanical lever back at the motor pivot and they get stuck from either corrosion or dirt. A lot of times all it takes is some lubrication and moving the lever back and forth a few times manually to fix the problem.

Buddy boat for Albies anyone? Monterey, CA

I'd be interested in making a run sometime over labor day weekend if the conditions are favorable and the fish are still around. We keep the boat in the water in SF Bay (Sausalito) but could easily trailer it somewhere else to launch too. -Dougal

    Catalina 2009

Liz & Ernie, We lived in San Diego for a long time and made the crossing from SD bay, Mission Bay, and Oceanside many times but it was in a big slow boat we used to own, no experience with parking a trailer in Oceanside. We live in the Bay Area now but are trailering the boat to Marina del...

Recommedations for boating equipment on line?

Defender Marine has a huge selection and great prices www.defender.com I used to buy a lot of stuff from their physical store when I lived in Connecticut and the people were always really helpful and knowledgeable. -Dougal

    Corroded trim tab mounting screws

Robbi, Thanks for the advice. That is a cool extractor - I've never seen one like that before. I already reinstalled the tabs so I am not really worried about making a warranty claim or anything, I just wanted to make people aware of this potential problem. I understand that there is not an...
