    twin engine alignment

That sounds like "toe-out" to me. In the automotive world, toe-in means that the front of the tires are closer than the back of the tires. In a boat, the thrust lines are convergent. There is not an automotive counterpart.

I figured out my C-80 depth finder

I have noticed dots, beyond normal clutter. I will try speeding up when I see them to see if I then get the arch shape, and will also split the screen. Thanks for the information and advice.

I figured out my C-80 depth finder

I have had my C-80 depth/fishfinder with DSM 300 for about a year, but it does not mark fish with arches as shown in the manual. I have played with the gain, and tried other adjustments, but it still does not work. I fish primarily in 15-100 feet of fresh water, for trout. It does occasionally...

Has anyone gotten their Permatrim high enough

With full fuel, and permatrims on twin Suzuki DF40s, permatrims are not covered with water while on plane, at any speed above 15mph. The motors are mounted with the cavitation plate even with the bottom.

    Suzuki engine hour meters

I have twin DF40s. From new, one of the gauges lagged behind, and at about 15 hours, stopped completely. I replaced the gauge, and in the box was a cautionary instruction to not overtighten the two anchor nuts, or it would cause damage to the gauge. I hooked up the "broken" gauge and when the...

    Now Here's a Lock!

My wife and I, with another couple, rented a 60' x 8' canal boat for a week this past Fall. Within 5 minutes of starting the trip from Falkirk to Edinburgh, we had to go through the "Wheel". A bit unnerving. I kept wondering what I would do if the door at the end of the bathtub were to pop...

    Props for Suzuki DF40s

I have twin Suzuki DF 40 four strokes on CD-22. Currently it is propped with11-5/8 x 12, 3-blade Suzuki aluminum props. I only have 30 hours on the engines, and they both turn up to within 100-150 WOT RPM, so it seems to be propped about right. My mileage is less than the 4-5 mpg that most...
