TomCat's sensitivity to aft weight ????? I have not noticed any ....if fact I think alittle more weight would help in the aft......I could trim the bow down a little for a change instead of negative and up. Dick "ShirleyMae"

I can keep on plane with my TomCat 255 as low as 8 -10kts with permatrims.... you can get just as good mpg at 15kts too..the 25 C-Dory is goes for 70 k.....the TomCat 100k but the TomCat is TWICE the Boat...... I went with 150 Hondas because they get about the same MPH as the 130 or less....its...

But No SALMON.....took a gamble from the norm of going south...Went up past Dux to the 30fathom line as far as 10miles NW of the N Bouy 37.50N 123.50W...saw some good signs on terrafin .. heard about some halbut trawlers netting lots of Salmon......as we trolled for 5 hours it looked real...

Trim tabs on C-Dory..(except TomCat) are the best thing since sliced bread!! I put them on my old boat a 22ft 1990 Angler ( sold last Dec Dec for what I paid for her!!) "the only way to fly!! pay the extra for the LED trim tab indictators on the switches...VERY helpfull!! Dick 255 Tomcat...

On my 1990 22 Angler I had a thru hull transducer hooked to a 1650 Furuno...WORKED GREAT!!...no turbulance...the only way to go.....mounted in the indent where the bilge pump sets.....Do it!! Dick 255 TomCat Orinda

I had "Dry Deck" rubber squares that snap together on my 22 c-dory Angler...worked great!..inside and out of boat!! keep your feet dry and easy to clean..great non slip!!! the slope is so small on the deck...you do not need panels!! Dick Orinda

I have a 2007 255 TomCat I had a monohull 22angler before..w/trim tabs Two different animals Trim down ....On the monohull.... trim tabs were on to LOWER the bow down to take on wind waves or chop...flat bottom Trim up..On a Cat there are no ..and cannot have trim tabs...no space..interfere...
