I did not know you could remove the anchor light. How do you take it down. Mine seems loose at times but I have never tired to take off. It makes getting the cover on hard at times and does seem to swivel like its loose. It works and there is cap for it on the dash.

Has anyone had problems with the voltage regulator on a Honda 40? Recently my batteries kept running down. The cause was using two different size batteries according to the mechanic. Final cost after getting the part from Honda was $ 551.00. The regulator was $157. I talked to two different...

It all depends on conditions. I have used as little as a gallon an hour cruising at 1800 rpm at 10 kts. At my full crusing 4600 rpm an 24 kts. I use about 2 gallons an hour. If it' flat calm I get better fuel consumption than in choppy water. Check out the link and see what honda says you...
