In the PNW, it's cool enough on the water to need partial or full canvas to make a flybridge useable. We had our Krogen 39 5 years and probably used the flybridge for cruising 4-5 times. If you enclose it in canvas, you're back inside!
Steve, I would vote for the EOH brakes. Having made the conversion to my EZ Loader TomCat trailer, I can attest to the improved braking. The parts and installation position is shown here:

I had both pumps fail early on, I think due to freezing. Rather than replace them I disconnected the hoses and let the fishboxes drain into the bilge where the bilge pumps did their thing. I used the boxes for storage only however so there was no shells, fish guts etc. draining out. This worked...
You can download the Sea Star manual if you don't already have one. It outlines the procedure for centering. Raise the engines up a bit and turn the wheel to R or L max. Raise engines completely. open the tie bar valve and you'll hear a clunk as one engine drops to match the other. Weather you...
In the US, you may be boarded and inspected by any number of agencies. The FCC is not one of them. The other agencies don't enforce FCC policies. I'd worry more about proper safety equipment and ownership and insurance paperwork.
Thanks Boris, for doing the math! I knew it was cheaper but didn't want to do the calculations. Thank goodness for Engineers like you. Once you've done the trip up through the rapids and Johnstone, there's no reason to do it again.
There are no hull Zincs on the TC. The Zincs are on the engines, where the possibility of corrosion lies. I had Honda's which had 3 Zincs. Check your manual for Suzuki's Zinc location. Everything in the boat which uses the 12v ground system is protected through the engine ground and Zincs.
I totally agree with Boris on towing to port McNeill. Have the customs agent stamp your passports so you have a record of entering the country. Everyone else will have a clearance number to verify their legal entry. The Passport stamp is your verification.
Thanks Dave,
I just listened to the whole thing and enjoyed hearing Billy's tales.
I couldn't get to it using your link but Googled for it and got this one that worked for me: http://www.cbc.ca/player/Radio/Living+O ... 625495018/
Billy is a treasure for sure and we enjoyed meeting him...
Many Brats have used Cory Gracey, Sharp Yacht Transport and raved about his service. He picked up our TomCat when we sold it and was in Ventura, CA the next day! I'm sure someone here will chime in with his number.
