    Fuel Separation

Absolutely. If you add a can of Seafoam to each of your fuel tanks it will actually separate out the water from your fuel. Water will be at the bottom of the tank where your pickup is. In the morning before you get underway pump the fuel primer bulb. This will be the best time to catch some of...

    Fuel Separation

After getting the fuel cleaned up. You have to prevent water from continuing entering the tanks. Replace your fuel tank vents with a P-Trap style vent. https://www.amazon.com/Attwood-Corporat ... 374&sr=8-3[url] This prevents rain water from being sucked into the fuel tanks by sloshing fuel...

    Cockpit Floor Grating Build

The picture doesn't show it, but it is actually 3 separate panels. I used Tightbond III wood glue with screws to secure the boards to the joists. All the screws are plugged and have two really thick coats of epoxy that coated even the edges of each board, top and bottom. Definitely not coming...

    Surge Brakes Locked Up

I second that what Bob said, spray salt away on your brakes and disks. Or any soapy mix, simple green works too. The soap will keep the metal from rusting together. Divers welding under water, dip their welding leads in a bucket of soap to prevent surface rust while on lunch break. It works!

    Propane grill setup.

I built a platform in the motor well for my Magma gas grill that can hold the Honda Generator when not using the grill. Now I put the grill when I am cooking, on a wood box that is storage for my aft anchor. I don't worry about gas tank fumes with an open flame because the vents are outside of...

    Guiltless Remodel Job

Don was confirming with the manufacturer of C-Dory that the bulkhead is not structural. Also giving us appreciation for our advice too. In my industry, the saying is; “trust but verify, no matter who they are.”Thanks for the feedback Don

    Pre-resolving my two-footitis

Cut the forward bulkhead out! Instant 2-foot gain. I was REALLY thinking about getting a longer boat too. It took me 5 years to finally get the balls to cut out the forward bulkhead to the v-birth. I wish that I did this when I bought it 5 years ago. I looked at Rosborough really hard. I...
