    Props

Roamad, it is the pitch on the prop, not the motor. SSOBOL has a 13 1/2" diameter prop. The pitch is 15". In other words, one rotation of the prop and the prop travels 15" forward. The diameter and pitch should be stamped on the prop that you have. As has been discussed look at your owners...

    Getting Fuel Tank Tested

Here's a link to when David McKibben had to replace his tank on his 25. He built new steps because of gap issues. For what it's worth...The pic of the new step is on page 4 of the thread. https://www.c-brats.com/threads/gas-tank-leak-on-my-25.18784/page-4

It's those damn disc brake calipers again

Regarding brake pads, it would be interesting to run a set of Kodiak pads on one axle and the new ones you just purchased on the other axle. Given the good results that Jay has had with Kodiak, it might be a worthwhile experiment, Colby.

    Shower box pump

I had to replace the wash down pump on my 25. There was no power to the pump via the switch. I traced down a broken wire. It was one of the wires that rubbed through the insulation as it was hard onto the deck. Vibration caused it to wear all the way through. I would try testing continuity on...

    Getting Fuel Tank Tested

I would be interested in knowing how much support there was under the tank originally. It seems like the pads will really spread the load out. I'm sure Adam will report on this and given his extremely well-thought out and executed work, the fix and support of the tank will probably exceed what...

    Getting Fuel Tank Tested

Boy, it sure would have been nice if the manufacturer of these aluminum tanks coated them so they would last like yours will. How much would it cost for this step? How long does it take to coat a tank? Do tank manufacturers offer the option to coat the outside? My boat is a 2004, the tank was...

    21 ft Offshore C-Dory

I very much admire your boat! It reminds me of a C-Dory cross bred with an Arima, which is also produced in Washington State. At one time, both C-Dory and Arima were produced in side-by-side plants in Auburn, WA. What is the deadrise at the stern of your boat? How does in ride in chop...

    Pictures not showing up

Help! Why aren't any pictures showing up in albums? All I get is the caption/description and a blank box without a picture. I tried on my Android phone and the same result. The site was down overnight, maybe servers are being worked on?

    22 Cruiser of 23 Venture

The Venture 23 would be my choice. I've owned 3 22 Cruisers, one was an '85 with ironing board flat bottom, not good. Right now there is a really nice used one in Mount Vernon at Master Marine. Sure seems loaded and beats the brand new price. Good luck!

    New engine maintenance

Do yourself a favor and buy the pump attachment that screws onto the bottle. Most of those will have multiple threaded tips for all manufacturers and the Honda, too. Found a maintenance kit for 90 HP. I would think it would work for 100 HP. Might want to give them a call to find out for sure...

Bennett Trim Tab Switch not working

I had the same problem. The base of the switch broke, plastic you know what. I had to order a new switch, which included both port and starboard switch rockers. Easy to find out by taking off switch rockers. You'll see that one is broken. https://www.hodgesmarine.com/benes2000- ... 9ipRaNGUk3

It's those damn disc brake calipers again

Colby, I would call Etrailer and ask if those Kodiak calipers cross reference with yours. Or you can look it up on that website, there are lots of questions for each product and Etrailer publishes both questions and answers. Patrick

It's those damn disc brake calipers again

I recently replaced all my brake pads and have the Tie Down brand. One of the calipers needed to be replaced. Went on Etrailer.com and found this Kodiak dacromet caliper to be less expensive and made from cast iron, instead of the aluminum Tie Down. BTW no problem so far with rubber bushings...
