Bennett Trim Tab Switch not working

I have a Bennett Euro style model Ben ES-2000 controller for my trim tabs. The right switch has lost resistance and does not work. The switch just flops back and forth. What might the problem be?

I have checked the wiring, hydraulics etc All good.

Is the switch just worn out and needs to be replaced or can I fix the mechanism ... your thoughts?

I had the same problem. The base of the switch broke, plastic you know what. I had to order a new switch, which included both port and starboard switch rockers. Easy to find out by taking off switch rockers. You'll see that one is broken.
