Pat, That looks like a great guide. The only thing different that I do as you may remember, is that when I put the castle nut on I spin the hub as I tighten the nut until the hub drags, then back off it only till it doesn't drag, then lock it there. Jim

Since we launch very close to the Narrows Bridge now Bridges at TOA(Tacoma Outboard Association), , I can tell you that we have rarely launched at a slack tide, and with the almost constant wind ,etc , it can be a a real challenge. We have been told that if you can launch at TOA you can launch...

I know I tried to get a set of the raised decals ,but never got'em. So now I guess what do we do is find out where C-Dory got them and see if we can get them direct? I'm going to see if any of the decal makers have this type of decal in the meantime.

I believe those are to hold the Anchor Light when not mounted topside, At least they did on our 22 and our 25.

Started repairing paint bubbling on the Honda BF-135. Got areas down to bare metal, applied several thin coats of zinc barrier paint , next comes coats of paint , and clear coat to bond it all together.

It looks similar to the C-Dory that was for sale in Puyallup and discussed here . It was also a V-8 powered-Jet Drive. I believe that the bottomline was it was a dangerous combo and could be over-driven. Someone mentioned that it almost killed after air launching on to a jetty or roadway.

I looked at our sticker and it is the same as the one we had on our 22' ...I know that has to be wrong for our 25' , but haven't worried about it too much...may be I should, but have more pressing priorities ...like paying for the boat,gas,trailer brakes ,insurance..... ad nauseum

I'm kinda late to comment, but Laurie and I have experienced things like Byant has, more so when we had the '22. The bottom line was that we were in the RIGHT boat to handle it. We probably wouldn't be here if not in our C-Dory.

Looked at all the photos. Some small things might be C-Dory like ,but over all it doesn't seem to be an iteration of the " modern" i.e. SBS 1979 era C-Dory. The hull number and info plate on the boat would help clear it up too I think. Dave and Ben would have the skinny on it I bet.

Good Call Roger, Now there is a Red Tundra to go with our White Tundra that Laurie and I got this Spring. Ours is the same setup as yours. As for towing our 25, it does a great job,power wise and great braking power also. It handles the boat better than our '97 f250 did.

Last night about 2200 hrs... I caught up with the Rock-C Crew, Terry, Anne and Chloe just north of Vancouver Wa... They figured it was me ,since not many other FedEx Freight Rigs honk and tell 'em to pull over for a chat. They were heading home from the big Cruise to Nanaimo, etc.

Ditto the above... Got ours a few years ago at the SBS. Used it lots of places .....
