Not in the market - but IF I were...

We have seen it before. You are poised to do the same as Fred and Robin - sell your perfect San Juan Islands boat, move up to a floating tank, say oops, sell it all, move to Tucson, and get more rain there in the first month than you get at home. :xnaughty

Sure glad we no longer have a C Dory

Wow! Talk about a contradiction of Title vs. Story! I am glad you didn't have a boat sitting on that trailer too! I can only recall being near the boat when lightning was likely one time, and that was on the river so no escape would have been available. Around here there is usually some...

Is a 24" radar dome too big for a 22' Cruiser?

The reason folks were teasing me is because we all used to make jokes about the old Furuno monster on C-Lou. After he replaced it with a new smaller unit they dubbed me as the guy with the biggest radome. The original C-Lou megadome: A wannabe artist's redition of it (B~C I think was the...

Is a 24" radar dome too big for a 22' Cruiser?

The radome on my CD25 is the first generation Garmin GMR41 24" and I don't think it looks too big up there. Garmin came out with the 18" a short time later and I thought for a while that the smaller unit would've been a better fit but I have since changed my mind and prefer the 24". Like the...

    how to post an image

They look fine to me! The problem was having the BBCode disabled. Just below the textbox when typing a message is a list of options that pertain to the message being typed. One of them is to disable the BBCode which is what makes the command tags work. I don't know why it sometimes get...

    Account blocked when email changed

Account email changes have to be done by an admin. If you send the new email address to me I can fix it right up. Sorry - I should have mentioned that earlier.

How to post a boat for sale on home page

It's there on the front page. The listings are arranged by model year (when included in the title) on the front page rather than the date of last activity on the thread as they are in the forum. The ad is a little further down the page than where you maybe expected it to be.

How to post a boat for sale on home page

Anything posted in the For Sale By Owner forum should show up on the front page list automatically. Can you post a link to the ad so I can figure out what might be going on? Right now the only thing I can think of is that it might be simply a Craigslist link to a boat not owned by a member...

    It's crab time again!

Well now, I don’t want to count my crab before they are cracked, but this is just the goofy ring we toss over the side of the boat while anchored waiting for slack tide. At least a limit in it and we kept six of the best ones. Less than 20 minutes in the water.

    It's crab time again!

We have tried a couple methods for freezing but they only keep for a few weeks. The best way for us is to freeze the cooked crab whole and then seal by dipping in ice water and refreezing a few times. A sharp freezer is really needed for that to work well though. Ours doesn’t get cold enough...

    It's crab time again!

Heading out for a low tide pot soak this morning. It’s unbelievable how nice the weather is for the middle of October.
