Due to Chinese virus restrictions on Canadian travel, we spent a lot of time at Stuart Island, back and forth between Reid and Prevost in pursuit of crab. Other than a couple of trips over to Roche Harbor, we spent more time towing The Pocket Yacht than we did running her. :sad Right...

Put mine back in the water yesterday. Ran her down the channel. 5 onboard and she still goes like stink with that 50 hp. E-Tec. :D

I mounted my ladder on the side of the cockpit to be used as a swimming, or emergency boarding ladder. my 16' draws so little water, I figure if I needed to go ashore, I would run the boat in and step over the side. :wink

Today was pressure wash all of the mold spots off of the hull. :sad Took off the mooring cover and was amazed at all of the mold spots inside. :smileo Happens when we have a relatively warm winter. :sad Next will be spraying down everything with vinegar and tomorrow start the engines. :smilep

Pocket Yacht started to whimper as I walked by the trailer, so I stopped and gave her a pet. :sad

I gave it a pat because it was whimpering when I walked by it's trailer. :cry

When mine quit working, I took it off and dug all of the mud out of it that the Mud dubber Wasps had put inside. :sad Now it has a piece of window screen over the opening. :wink

The trick I used to put a travel trailer into my garage was to buy a set rims and replace the wheels with just rims. That gained me about 5". :wink

Every summer, the rip rap along the sand island, at the south end of the Swinomish Channel, will claim a few small boats and at least one 45' that I know of. :crook When the tide is high the rocks are covered and that nice sandy beach looks so inviting. :embarrased

Pocket Yacht is back on the dollies with help from my Son-in-law and yesterday she got her bottom painted. :thup Supposed to rain today, so I'll have to to wait to paint where the dolly pads were. :sad Hope to be back on the trailer by the weekend. Then into the water. :wink

The range was closed today, so I pulled Pocket Yacht out of the water for cleaning and bottom paint. Whew! Was she stinky. :smileo Gave her a light wash down and tomorrow I'll fire up, "Killer", my shoulder wrenching pressure washer. :crook
