Today, Penny and I put the only human footprints on the Middle Cape of Cape Sable. We walked ashore. This area is part of the Everglades National Park. This is the area to cruise in the winter. Check it out!

Is anyone cruising the SW coast of Florida during the next 2 to 4 weeks? If so, let us know. Wanderer plans to leave Marathon tomorrow morning (7 Feb.) and spend a few days in the Everglades and then a few more in the 10000 Islands before heading to Marco, Naples and on up into Pine Island...

Tom&JoAnn, Congratulations on the boat. You'll love her. My wife, Penny and I, live about 4 months a year in Marathon, Fl. We expect to tow our CD22, Wanderer, down from Annapolis, MD this winter. We plan to cruise up the West coast sometime early next year. Let's get in touch.

El and Bill, I just looked at your images and write-up of your time on the Chesapeake this June. I have sailed the Bay for 40 years and feel like it is an old friend. You have captured its essence. Penny and I enjoyed sharing time with you as we all got better acquainted. Great job.
