Nice surprise at a central NY marina pump last week. Barretts Marina near the west end of the Cayuga-Seneca Canal at Seneca Lake was selling non-ethanol for $4.499 gallon. We took 60 gallons to pretty well top us off. So nice to know that grain alcohol isn't in the tank doing it's dirty work...

I agree with Jim, go with the heavier anchor. And his recommendation of 15 feet of chain for a 25 foot boat, even a light C-Dory, makes me think he may be a bit short on experience with SF Bay tides, currents and all the other conditions that affect anchoring around there. Twice that much chain...
