Might want to also check out Schooner Creek in Portland. They do everything from repairs to full blows custom builds and have great glass people and a great reputation.

Boat has been sold and is going to a great home in Alaska. We'll miss her, but glad to see her going to somebody who can put her to more use. We'll be c-brats again some day. Thanks to everyone who has helped us and welcomed us so openly.

Thanks Bob and Casey... I really hate to see it go, but life throws you curve balls at times. Boat is indeed fully loaded and in excellent condition, not to mention the brand new trailer with a couple hundred miles on it, etc. Hope it goes to a good home... spread the word!

Just wanted to bump up this thread. The boat is still available. Currently moored on the Columbia in Portland.

They are closing that store. They opened a brand new one up on Hayden Island proper. The location and selection are bigger. Its only a couple more exits up I-5. What is strange to me is why they simply didn't move all of the stock over to the new location, but they didn't.

The location of the 26' Venture was odd. It wasn't anywhere near the main traffic flow or around the Sea Sports that were there. I spent quite a bit of time on the boat seeing as we have one and the construction was well done in my opinion and I felt the storage was much more usable than in mine...

I recently had a similar problem with a bilge. The manual switch worked fine, but the float switch did not. Ended up being another inline fuse I wasn't aware of. Not sure if that is the case with yours or not, but worth a shot.
