02/25 - 02/27 Cruise starting at Cornet Bay, WA

Mike, the weekend of Feb 25, 26 and 27. I was thinking Cornet Bay State docks, and if the weather looks good somewhere in the San Juans, or maybe La Conner if the weather is real bad.

Thanks, Fred. I think it's all entered correctly. I edited your intial post to include the date and info, and whipped out a signup sheet.

Sure wish I could make this one! Cornet Bay is my favorite launching spot up thataway. Have fun

There is better than decent chance I could join in on the last weekend in February. Cornet Bay sounds like a winner and great jumping off point.

It is looking even better now that I have cleared the home calendar. I bet we will get a crowd before we are through. R-Matey hasn't chiimed in it. Right in there backyard and our Whidbey Island flotilla.

Mike - doesn't the signup sheet usually have the date on it? I didn't see that...I know it is February 25, 26 and 27.

Thanks for thinking of us, C-Sick. We'd just love to haul the R-Matey out for a trip to either Cornet Bay or LaConner but Joe's just been so swamped with work that we won't know until a couple of days before that weekend whether we can make it or not. We sure hope so :!: :!:

Fine, papa (figure that one out!), I done changed it. The thing is, you see, I really liked Fred's initial February Cruise title, and wanted to keep it in there. The group names can only be so many characters, you see.

Thought I would bring this back to the top. I was hoping to get some feel from people who are signed up would like to do. If the weather was good do we, cruise into the islands for the night, cruise up to La Connor, stay at Cornet Bay, have Dusty take us to dinner? If the weather stinks?

Fred

OK, if its nice, I vote for Dusty takes us to dinner. And it the weather stinks, I vote...Dusty takes us to dinner. And if we go to LaConner, well, how about Dusty takes us to dinner?

But seriously...well, there is no seriously. But you are the Cruise Director, so you pick...all I want to know is how to hook up with you Saturday a.m. or noon or so, because we are not gonna get there Friday night I understand from the Admiral...

Pat I will be getting to Cornet Bay on Friday late morning or early afternoon. I was hoping to meet up with a few people and maybe go out for dinner Friday night. Saturday cruise with a potluck Saturday night.

If the weathers bad then la conner and cornet bay sound good. if the weathers good.then the islands for sure. I have never meet dusty and he does not have to take me to dinner. pot lucks are always good for us. never have a pot luck with my mom and her 4 sisters, all dessert and no meal.

Dusty is outa town. Saw him sitting on a box at a busy intersection with a sign and bucket

OTOH, not a bad idea. We should work on this. Might even furnish fresh salmon for a BBQ. Do look forward to seeing you clowns again. :love

For those who ain't met him yet, the old Duster is just fading away - except his mouth. And he's pacing up and down waiting for Les and crew to get the green monster all put together. Soon, maybe. Carl tells me to go away every time I go back in the shop and take a peek.

Dusty

Dusty, you can be sure that your clown pals won't shoo you off when you dance on down our way. Not a chance. Besides, there's a chick over Port Angeles way who's I hear tell sweet on you. :love

Dusty excels at taking friends to breakfast. He knows just the place. Normally, he prefers not to do dinners, because it is pretty close to his bedtime. He's a lot smarter than most of us youngsters.

Really wish we could join you at Dusty's place. Really, really wish.
