I've got to chime in...this was a lot of fun for all of us Two Lucky Fishes, as well. I learned a lot, made a lot of new friends, and just generally enjoyed the heck out of my time there.

Shoot, I didn't have time to meet you. Hope you'll be in Anacortes.

Thank you Barry and Patti for all of your hard work in planning and organizing a super weekend. It was great contacting you on 68 for directions into the slips and I'm certain the Friday Harbor Harbormaster appreciated your taking on those duties for them. Many thanks to you, Barry and David (Anna Leigh) for my 2nd year in a row Coast Guard Vessel Safety inspection. As always the Snoqualamie Brewery beer was a "hit" with me. Thank you for supplying me with a special bottle for my use (ie: consumption) while christening those fine vessels. I'm sure Popeye is hoping that we have a gathering there again next year. He probably, has spent the better part of today sleeping off a hangover from all of the beer and wine that poured from the bows of the christened vessels into his habitat... :disgust .
The many C-Bratlets that were fishing, playing around the dock were a delight to watch. They seemed so excited all the time with the treasures they discovered as they moved around the dock with their colorful life jackets on. (I forgot to ask Roger on "Dreamer" why he has an inflatable pink flamingo on his vessel....at any rate the little ones enjoyed playing with it). At one point, I mistakenly thought Robbi was one of the "bratlets" :wink , until I noticed she didn't have a life jacket on....but she certainly had a few of us speechless as she thrust her digital camera under water to take a picture of Popeye.
Our Canadian contingency of C-Brats added considerably to this "international gathering", as they were great sports with our antics....."a"....
Obviously, I could go on and on for days about this fine SUNNY :hot weekend with all the fine food etc. but I don't want to consume everyone's computer memory space, so I'll just say.....Thanks to everyone that contributed by being a part of a fantastic weekend!

Woo Hoo...it's Crazy Frazey coming at you live!!!

Amy & I had a most wonderful time with each and every one of you! Thank you all for gathering together to share and enjoy each others company and love of boating!

Amy said work seems a million miles away...reminds me how fortunate we are.

Jim & Shelly...I may not be the quickest feller but the "eh" in your post didn't slip past me. Glad to see you both have a sense of humor as well and we were glad to be your neighbors. Hope to see you there again.

Barry & Patti.....FREAKING DITTO!!!! YOU BOTH ROCK!!!! :teeth

Happy and Safe Boating to all...

Barry & Patti,

What a GREAT get together! Great weather! It was great to see old friends and meet new ones. Great boats! As Caryn and I kept saying, "it doesn't get better than this!"

Great job!

Pat, I too took the exact same picture as you and I wanted to publicly thank you for enlightening me to the fact that "Pingu" is Inuit for "Recycled beer can."

First I wish to express my thanks again to Barry & Patti for all of the fine work that went in to what must be one of the largest C-brats events of all time.
We are newcomers and have been to only two events, but we plan on organizing a gathering at the North end of lake Chelan next summer.
Stehekin, and the North Cascades National Park offer a wide range of activities including hiking, river & lake fishing, river rafting and shore side camping. So, I have some questions seeing as how you have established the mark in terms of planning.
1. Did you pay for the name tags, flags or incur any other expenses other than for a pre- visit or for communication?
2. If so, did we fail to notice a chance to contribute to those expenses?
3. Also what is your advice or the advice of others regarding trips which call for trailering east of the mountains?

Barry, Patti and all of the C-Brats -

Thank you so much for the invitation and ALL of your gracious generousity in having us at the Friday Harbor CBGT. All of you made myself and my wife Lisa feel very comfortable - like we were among friends and family.

A special thanks to Anne Cox for working with us through some differences and giving me the pleasure of using SEA COASTER on a demo out of Coronet Bay.

With Best Regards,

Where to Start?
Pattie and Barry thank you for all the work you put into this event. Great job!! Pat and Pattie Anderson thank you letting us follow you in to FH. Nice to have someone cut a few of the bumps out of the ride. To the crew of the C-Daisey, could not have asked for better dock neighbors. Karl, lets set up a fishing trip. Ruthie and Joe, thank you for being Ruthie and Joe. And to everyone else there thanks for a great weekend.

We , on the Chesapeake, are humbled...what a great turnout you guys were able to put together...sometimes we wish there was a way to do a "national" gathering...what an event that would be!

So, congratulations. We who do our event know how much work (and fun)goes into one of these events.

We have about 29 boats for our gathering on June 6, 7,8. We'll hoist a can to you.

Patti and Barry, let me be the first to thank you two for so seamlessly weaving this largest west coast gathering to date. Beautifully done!

I recall the very first gathering, a nine or ten boat affair in March 2001 at Langley. That event was windy and cool but warmed by new, instant friendships. Friday Harbor proved again the sustaining Brat tradition of spontaneous acceptance, connection and enduring harmony.

I'm fortunate to be a part of this congenial coterie, and foremost
feel gratitude for all I've been given by those at Friday Harbor and the dozens who were not. Information and education, conversation and consideration, homemade nutrition. And more.

Thanks, everyone, for making last weekend possible and for the time, money and effort that entailed. I had a great time, and I look forward to seeing everyone in the future somewhere 'round the point.

Thankyou Barry & Patty for sponsoring this event, thankyou Barry & David for the boat inspection, Thankyou reverand Dave and everyone for christening our boat, and thankyou Pat & Patty for your cruise suggestions for the rest of our trip, I am posting now with a weak connection in Echo Bay on Sucia Island. Since Friday Harbor we have been to Stuart Island, Jones Island, Matia Island, and tomorrow we are off to Cypress Island before we head to the Anacortes gathering.

And ofcourse thankyou to all our C-Brat family for helping make this event so very special.
