I have not seen anything on the Carolina Loop. I would like to know if there is any intrest! If so what about organizing it. I donot have a date yet. Thanks Neal

Hi Neil, We would love to Cruise with you all again. We are going to spend some of our Summer In Alaska this year If anyone gets up a Cruise while we are home we will attend. We will be leaving for Alaska around June 15 and will be back the lase of August. Jim
 
I would like to try for may 2013. I would like the dates to be the weekend before Memorial Day. I would like for this to be added to cruises and gatherings. Then we could have more sign ups. :)

I'm not sure how you add an "event" for sign ups... You may have to request this from the sites moderator. Your suggested date is right on.

Have you had an opportunity to have the site's moderator aid you in getting an event sigh up list on the site for this event?
 
No ,I have not had the moderator add the North Carolina Cruise yet. I did write a privat e-mail. Have not heard back. My boat is ready. My generator is mounted and I have an extended run tank mounted as well. I am having a new Lorance GPS installed. We are looking forward to the cruise. I have also insalled a Permatrim. I have not had a chance to check on performance yet! (TO COLD) :thdown

Come on over is you're itching for a boat ride. I'm heading out around 3 today.
I'm sure that the moderator will get back to you soon, for the event posting on the site.

We will not be able to attend the Loop this year due to our daughter's wedding in late May. Hope everyone has a great time and we will plan on next year.

I am up for this also. Keep the thread going. would like to in the water a day or two before Memorial day to avoid the grid lock at the boat ramps.

My boat is ready. I have not had any luck at getting the North Carolina Cruise posted. I could use some help. We do need to figure out a place to meet. I plan to do the trip on her own bottom, not trailer. I will check with Centerville Marina as for trailer storage. We could meet at Centerville or at the Channel marker. :)
 
Could one of the moderators or administrators aid Neal Mitchell of WALKERBAY/Hunkydory with setting up an event posting for the VA-NC Mini Loop Cruise?

For those folks coming from out of town, Centerville Waterway Marina in the past has been very accommodating with rig storage and slips for the night. Their number is 757-547-4498. The phone numbers for the other marinas we used are as follows:

Thanks To All Who Have Helped get this trip posted. I would like to know how many boats are going?. Where is a good place to meet? We could meet at Centerville Marina. They have a ramp and transient slips. The tentative plan is : Meet at Centerville Marina on 17 May. First night at North Carolina Welcome Center. 18 May at the Pelican Marina in North Carolina. 19 May at Coinjock Marina. 17 is a Friday. 18 is Saturday. 19 is Sunday. 20 is Monday.
