Rich, I am normally up early so making an 8AM locking works for me. Looking at the long range weather forecast we may have some storms on Thursday and Friday, but the remainder of the week-end looks good with temps in the 80s.

All, please update the events page so I can get a good count on the number of boat traveling with us.

Thanks, Richard

Folks,
Those of you that are still reading email, Joan and I will be making the 1330 Deep Creek Lock opening tomorrow and look forward to seeing all of you at the visitor center.

Hi All, We are having a great time on the Carolina Loop. Great Staying at the D.S. Visitors Center, There were plenty of boats there. We had a great snacks & dinner there. Good Dinner down town tonight. Weather has been great, wish all could have been with us. Jim

Back at home safe and sound from the best 5 days I have spent in a long time. Thank you to Richard for getting this going.

Both Joey and I enjoyed all of your company and conversation throughout the weekend. I look forward to cruising with you all again sometime.

Hello Everyone,

Ernie and I made it home around 3pm today. We just wanted to thank Dick for his idea for this trip and all the work he put into it. Thanks Tivo for helping Dick to make this event easy for all of us. We had a great time and hope to spend time with all of you on another trip. This cruise was full of laughs, great conversation, good food and our first game of corn hole. Thanks Sandy for teaching us all the rules. We will post pics soon.
Good Luck Bob and Betsy on the rest of your trip.

You are the feature pix in the shots I took of the Visitor's Center arrival with 'Lil Tug' pulling up the rear. It was from the bow of the MONK 36 that was tied up at the head of the dock

Hope you all enjoy the pixs as much as Jan & I enjoyed visiting with you. I still have the 'Loop' on my "Bucket List", but this trip would not have been a wize choice for us to make - not till the Mate's eye ops are done.

We put Sea Angel in the water today for the first time since last Oct and all went very well, except for the storm that came across the Bay - followed by the sun. I wonderful experience, for all the options I added worked as planned.

Thanks to all for allowing Lady KC to experience a great trip
including the Carolina Loop with all the C-brats.

Everyone........thanks for posting some great pictures.

The Lady's GPS indicated we covered just over 400 water miles in six days.

We hope other's enjoyed the Prime Rib and
Georgia coconut cake bomb as much as we did
at the Coinjock Marina.

Sea Pal......continue to have a great trip....be safe.

Sea Angel.......thanks for all the docking help and cool water.

Fair seas to all until we meet again.

Hi All, We had a great time on the loop, we would do it again. Thanks everyone for getting it together. We got home about 5:30 this evening. Enjoyed all of the Pic. that was posted Jim & Sandy

Thanks to everyone that attended the Carolina Loop and made the trip a super success. It was great to meet new C-Brats and begin our cruising friendship. I hope we can do other trips in the future. My only regret was, my wife could not attend she would have enjoyed meeting a wonderful group of people.

Special thanks to “Litl’ Tug” and “Osprey” for handling much of the navigating, and to Tivo for the great looking t-shirts.

Thanks again, Richard

Hello all,
I guess I am have lost my mind or I enjoyed the mini loop so much I just had to try and end the summer season the way it started enjoying time with other C-Brats. Please come out for the 5th annual NC gathering Sept. 23,24,25 2011 at Whitaker Point Marina In Oriental NC. Slip rate is $1 per foot for Brats and $5 dollars for shore power. We are planning a pot luck meet and greet for Friday night and a catered BBQ on Sat night. for Slip reservations you can call Ashley at the marina at Office 252-249-1750 or cell# 252-672-2554 or you can let me know and I will keep a list to turn in to him. I am looking into Tee- shirts at this time. I am also asking for help from the Mini Loopers to make this event as successful as Tracey and Larry have made in in the past. Hope to see you all then.
