Mark your calendars for the 7th Annual Chesapeake Bay C-Dory Gathering - June 3,4 & 5th at Lankford Bay Marina on the Chester River near Rock Hall Maryland.
We have reserved the marina for this weekend.

Pat and Patty will mark their calendar for the 10th Annual Chesapeake Bay CDGT in 2014, the first one after we retire! I cannot say how much we enjoyed being there in 2005. We are definitely coming back!

Great, another spring trip to help us defrost from this cold winter. Suzanne and I are looking forward to seeing the C-Bay group. Hopefully most can make it and maybe some new folks will show.

We have secured the weekend at Lankford Bay Marina for the C-Dory Gathering. The marina would like reservations made 30 days before the event. Considering it is only 3 1/2 months away, check out your calendars and mark June 3, 4 & 5 and give John A. a call at 410-778-1414 as soon as possible. Something nice to look forward to with all this SNOW. Don't forget. We wouldn't want you to be left out.

Hey Guys, we are in the market for a new boat and several folks mentioned the C Dory line. I am interested in the Cruiser 22. Would this be a good event to attend to see the boats and talk to the owners?

It sure would! We have been many times and there are always 20+ boats there of various types. Probably will not be there this year but it's always a great event and folks are very willing to show their boats and the things they have done with them..

Yes,the captain is correct.

The reason for these gatherings is for people to show off their boats and what they have done to personalize them. There are several sizes of C-Dorys and we have had them all at one time and also the Ranger Tugs have joined us in recent years.

Many years ago we thought it would be great to get together with other C-Dory owners and talk person to person like the C-Brat website does. Share ideas and experiences on our beloved C-Dorys. The first year we thought we would get maybe 6 - 8 boats. We had more than 30 come from 11 different states. It was like that for many years, with new people added every year to replace others that dropped out. Last year was a challenge with the economy and we think this year will be the same.

We have made many friends and enjoy seeing each other every year. There is always something new to talk about and especially showing off what is new on our boats.

Naptime is on our committee and has set up a successful cruise right before our gathering. We invite them to come to our party and share their recent adventure with us.

We always invite people to give us suggestions and ideas for our gathering. Just reply to this thread or send us a PM. We have a small committee and are always open to fresh ideas.

Thanks for the response's. We are going to make plans to attend. No I didn't play hockey but I am asked that all the time.

It is only about 6 weeks till the Gathering at Lankford Bay Marina on the Chester River. All C-Dory owners and Ranger Tug owners are invited to come. Whether you are a new owner or seasoned C-Brat, come enjoy a weekend with fellow C-Dory and Ranger Tug owners. We always have room for wannabe owners too!

Lankford Bay Marina is a lovely marina off the Chester River near Rock Hall, Maryland. This will be our 7th Gathering and we always have a lot of fun.

Make plans now and call the Marina for reservations. 410-778-1414.
 
We are the proud new owners of a Tomcat 255 (taking delivery in Annapolis on May 8th from Wefing's Marine in Florida) ) and look forward to meeting other C-Dory owners. We'll have to depart on Saturday afternoon, but hope we'll have time to meet everyone and learn more about being a C-Dory owner.

Too bad you can't stay for the whole weekend, but most come on Friday.

Will have our usual pot luck on Friday night. Bring a food item to share with friends. Beverages, plates and silverware will be provided. Friday is usually a meet and greet. Everyone is arriving and some need help with docking or getting to the ramp.
There is always someone willing to help.

We are a friendly group, ready to share our C-Dorys and experiences.

Only about 3 weeks till our gathering. Please sign up on the events signups section of this site and if you haven't called the marina and made reservations, please do so soon.

We are going to have a pot luck on Friday night. This is an opportunity to meet all and talk about what we have done with our C-Dorys.

Since this is a small group this year, we were thinking of going into Rock Hall to one of the restaurants on Saturday night.

Let us know what you think.

Saturday is also a time for a cruise up the Chester River or over to the Corsica River for lunch.

Sunday is travel day when we all travel back home.

Looking forward to getting the boat in the water and our annual trek to Lankford. Please call John for reservations.

Hi Anna, We tried to get things worked out so we could come, but with having to stay with Sandys mother that week end, we will not be able to attend this year, we had a great time with you all in the past. Have fun all. Jim & Sandy Jessup (Westfield NC)
 
Hi everyone.

Well, next weekend we will be enjoying the view from the overlook at Lankford Bay Marina.

We have a small crew this year, partially due to the economy and price of gas, I am sure. Still going to have a good time.

If you need help getting your boat in, the public ramp is just about 1 mile down the road from the marina, Doug and I are planning on getting there some time Thursday. We can help.

Friday night is the annual pot luck. Please bring a dish to share with fellow C-Brats. We will provide all the paper products and non-alcoholic beverages. Saturday is free time. You can go into Rock Hall or Chestertown to site-see and shop or take a cruise up the Chester River or raft up on the Corsica River for lunch. Saturday night we will go into town for dinner together. Sunday we will have a small breakfast send off.

Looking forward to good weather and good friends. Seeing old friends and greeting new ones.

As the Nevada legislature won't adjourn until 1 AM Tuesday June 7 we won't be able to stop by on our way from BWI to Ocean View DE.
