07/20 - 07/22 - Bellingham, WA

WOW! It is only the 8th of March and a total of 28 Brats have already signed up to participate in the Bellingham Gathering. By July, we'll "own" the marina and Anthonys! :thup

Thanks Old Growth, TyBoo and Ruth and Joe -

Sounds like a great gathering and whether it's our first, second or third - we'll enjoy being there I'm sure. We lived very briefly in Bellingham a few years ago and enjoyed it.

I just put us down for the Gulf Islands cruise... Joe and Ruth, you'll be needing some "time off" - it would be a good time to get away in R-Matey and not have to do any more group-planning!

Hope it all works so we can see you there.

Best wishes,
Jim & Joan

Jim and Joan,

Thanks for thinking of us. Yep, we'll be going on the Gulf cruise. R-Matey will already be in the water and ready to go!

That's good news about you signing up for both the Bellingham CBGT & the Gulf Islands Cruise. We're looking forward to having you back on the Left Coast again. Miss seeing that Big Red pickup parked in the marina parking lot. Hopefully everything will go as planned and we'll see you in July (if you can, bring Brent & Dixie with you).

Hello,
My wife and I are planning upon attending this gathering to see your wonderful boats if you-all don't mind. We had planned upon attending the SBS but were unable to make it to Seattle for the show. The joys of winter in Montana.

I have signed us up for this event and truly hope that I have not broken any protocol as we do not as yet have a C-Dory. I will gladly remove my name from the event sign-up if asked.

We really would like visit this gathering to see your wonderful boats and meet a few of you. We derive a great amount of pleasure from this site and do look forward to becomming 'Full Fleged Members' in the next year or so.

Hope to see you in July!

Now that's funny! You are probably the only guy on here that knows how to spell protocol! Check the name of the group for your answer. We were going to call ourselves the C-Saints, but it just didn't seem to fit.

Really, though, you fine folks are entirely welcome. It is in fact an honor that you would travel so far. Be warned however, we have been known to fast-track the buying decision for lots of people.

Looking forward to meeting you.

Mike

We are getting our boat next week! Should know how to get that far from Anacortes by then. We would like to attend on the 20th, 21st, and 22nd. Please let us know what we need to do to join up.

Mike & Phyllis – welcome aboard. Glad to have you as members to the C-Brats. Also thrilled to have you attend the Bellingham CBGT. You don’t have to do anything to attend but it helps with the scheduling and dock reservation it you would sign up on the Event Signups.

You will find the “Event Signups” near the top of this window. Click on it and when the window opens you will see a line that has “Join A Group”. Below that will be box that probably has Poulsbo in it and a V to the right. Click on the "V" then on the drop down window find Bellingham and click on it. To the right there is another box that has “View Information”. Click on that box then when the window opens you will see a box that has “Join Group”. Click on it and you have now signed up for the Bellingham CBGT. You will also see the list of C-Brats that have signed up for this gathering.

Protocal...proticol...aw, shit, you are right, as usual, Mike! You can come to a CBGT whether you can spell or not! It would be REAL LONELY if spelling kept folks out!!

We got problems. There is this summer camp that the girls have gone to the last three years, and this is Tiffany's last year to go. The Jr. High camp starts July 22. She really wants to attend because she plans to become a camp councelor in following years. So we won't be taking that away from her. Jamie has three different weeks to choose from, but Tiff only has the one week available.

Now then, that changes our vacation plans to starting a week or two before B'ham and us leaving for home from B'ham on Saturday the 21st no later than noon. We had already decided to launch at B'ham, so we will get there a week or so early, do our SJ tour, and be at B'ham Thursday and Friday nights so we still get to see most of the crew.

Kids! What can you do??

Okay,

So I had a strange idea to spice up the gathering. This will probably appeal to the gals more that the guys, but i will ask anyhow.

Is anyone interested in a funny hat contest for the Bellingham gathering?

Since we love taking pictures ourselves in our boats I thought it would be a simple theme. And yes the guys should get into it as most of you are great interesting people with good ideas. My hubby fondly calls me a "joiner", I love to volunteer us for stuff. So now I am trying to be a "instigator". I will supply the 1st, second and third place prizes.

Any takers?

If I had a 25 I'd certainally give you a ride. :D

We would like to see several boats, and if possible 'hitch a ride' with someone (or two). However, we are very respectful of other peoples personal space. We are sorta knocking on the door of someone's house and asking if we can look around...it makes us uncomfortable, but this site eases the discomfort somewhat.

Thank you for your kind offer.

Patti and I will be at Bellingham and will be more than happy to give you a ride on our 22' cruiser 'C-Cakes". You are not intruding at all. Many of us have done exactly the same thing at gatherings and it helped us make our choice.
